I finally found an excuse to grow out my mustache! November is prostate cancer awareness month in New Zealand, and to show your support you're supposed to grow a mustache. I bet you didn't know that prostate cancer kills more men than any other cancer except lung cancer. 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed sometime in their life. So, this is certainly a worthy cause.
However, after one day at school I've just about had enough of it. I scare myself every time I look in the mirror, and no one wants to talk to me. Small children go running, along with some adults. I've never felt so dirty.

Well, yesterday Audra and I watched BYU blow out Colorado State. We have season tickets with the students. Sometimes I feel rather old in that section, but I'd like to think that I'm still hip (or whatever the kids are calling it these days). Maybe not though. Why do they always think that they have to stand up the entire game? My joints can't take that kind of pounding. Anyway, that's about the only thing that's going well in my world of sports. The most lopsided World Series ever was an embarrassment, and don't even get me started on the Broncos. Audra thinks I'm a total loser watching so many games and hitting the ESPN so much. Maybe she's right, but it's a heck of a lot better than watching Dr. 90210 or the Food Network.
