Bath Time

So, after a few days out of the hospital little Eva needed some quality time with her mother and the bathroom sink. As you can probably imagine, she didn't exactly enjoy her bath. I think she's still a little embarrassed to be naked in front of us.

For a better idea of how much she loved bath time, check out the small video.

Recovery time.

Thankfully she has this little hooded towel and a mommy that loves her. Don't worry, Eva, I hate taking baths too.

Introducing Eva Angelynn Green

I realize that the little video in the post before this was not too informative, so here are the details.

Eva Angelynn Green was born on Monday the 21st of July at 4:17 am. Labor lasted 7 hours, the last hour and a half of which were quite tough on Mom. But she was a real trooper and did the whole thing unmedicated. How - I'll never know. Child birth is only one of countless reasons I'm glad I have a thing, rather than no thing.

Eva weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long. As you can see in the pictures, she has a lot of hair. And, naturally, her parents think she is quite beautiful.

...And in case you were wondering, both names Eva and Angelynn are Audra's gradma's names.

Almost There...

Audra is now officially at 36.5 weeks and looking quite fantastic. We've been spending loads of time and cash on all things baby. My office/man room has been completely transformed into the baby clothing/paraphernalia holding area.

On another note, we spent the 4th of July as usual with Jon and Sarah. We had a nice fattening bucket of KFC chicken and watched the fireworks outside LaVell Edwards Stadium. The only thing that would have made it better would have been seeing Miley Cyrus, but not really.
